Effective September 1, 2022 unfortunately CMLP will be forced to increase our electrical rates.  Letters were sent to our customers in preparation for the increase.  
 

CMLP Rates

Electric bills will be mailed out no later than the 5th of each month.  CMLP bills are due the 15th of each month.  Customers will not be charged late fees as long as payment is received in the office no later than the 29th of each month.  A 10% penalty will be applied to all unpaid accounts on the 30th of each month, except February which the penalty will be applied the last day of the month.

Residential Customers

  • The first 500 kilowatts used = .15¢ per kw

  • The next 501 kw - 1500 kw = .145¢ per kw

  • After 1501 kw are used = .14¢ per kw

  • The first meter charge = $12.50 per month

  • The second meter charge located on the same address property = $6.50 per month

  • Security Light = $12.00 monthly

Commercial Customers

  • Meter charge for a commercial customer is $15.50 monthly

Commercial rates remain the same, however the meter rate increases.

Meter Sockets

CMLP will supply newly constructed homes that are built within the CMLP service territory a meter socket at no cost to the home owner.
If an existing home requires a new meter socket, CMLP can provide the meter socket to the customer at their cost.
